About the CBA-East Midlands Group The CBA-East Midlands is an autonomous local group under the umbrella of the national CBA body. Ever since the 1940s we have promoted archaeology across the East Midlands; there has been the occasional schism, but CBA-EM still survives to continue letting people know about what archaeological work is going on in the East Midlands, and to support and collaborate with the other groups around our region who are trying to do the same thing. Below is a list of CBA-EM’s institutional members, with links to their websites where they exist: Bingham Heritage Trails Association Buxton Museum and Art Gallery Derbyshire Archaeological Society Derbyshire Scouts FARI Archaeology Friends of Toton Fields Glossopdale and Longdendale Archaeology Society Hallaton Fieldwork Group Higham Ferrers Archaeology and Research Society Hunter Archaeological Society Keyworth and District Local History Society Leicestershire County Council Museums Leicestershire Fieldworkers Group Leicestershire Industrial History Society Lincoln Archaeology Group Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology Middle Nene Archaeological Group North East Lincolnshire Archaeology and Local History Society Nottingham Historical and Archaeological Society Radcliffe Archaeological Project Rugby Archaeological Society Rutland Local History and Record Society Scunthorpe Borough Museum Southwell Community Archaeology Group Council for British Archaeology East Midlands Group: Archaeology for all  Charity No. 1082287 Would you like to explore the main CBA national site?
